For this task, we were put in to focus groups and had a look at everyone’s ideas and gave/received feedback.
Reflection on Feedback
For my final Project, i wanted to look in to creating sprite sheets of characters to demonstrate emotion and animations at a limitated premise. For the general Feedback i was told to look in to how the characters would move and how to shorten the frame amount, for this i could look in to record how people would move holding theses weapons.
For my first idea, I was looking in to creating a mage character that has more of a focus on ranged projectiles. The feedback i got for this was that creating the effects of the elemental attacks would take a bit of time to create, for the characters design i should look in to other mages in other games and media. and if they wield a stick or not.
For the second idea, I was looking in to creating a character that is dual wielding swords with more of a focus on physical attacks. The feedback i got for this was i needed to look in to how to blur out and shorten the sprite animations while still showing swift movement, i would also have to look in to the designs of the swords and how they would look in a simple pixelated format.
And for the third idea, i was looking in to creating a character that transforms in to animals. The feedback i got for this mainly focused on how it will take too long and how it would be extremely complex when creating it. also if i wanted to do this i would have to look in to other animal designs.
