Virtual Gallery Reflection (incomplete)

Virtual Gallery 

My final project for the year is the virtual gallery that shows off all my work that i have done though out the first term of level 3 games development year 1. it was created using unreal engine and the multiple projects have worked on.

The skills the gallery helps me demonstrate

3D Modelling, Texturing, Perspective Drawing, Foliage, Still forms, Creating Foliage, Creating Landscapes, Gray boxing, Adding sound to objects, opening doors.

What industry sectors would these skills be useful in and why?

These skills will be useful in Indie and triple A sectors as they were focused on creating an interactive environment.

What different job roles do these skills prepare you for and what are the pros and cons of each job.

Our Game Idea

In groups of 6, We was tasked with creating a game idea that is based in a Jungle (or Forest) and we came up with an Action/Adventure game based in an Isolated Alien Planet, where your main goal is to explore the planet with in a set limit of 2 months, before you run out of food and water, to Find a way off the planet and return back home. Week 6/7: Social Media Advertisting

Social Media

Social Media is used everyday, to communicate with friends and update people on recent events, but it can also be used as a means of Advertising for products. This can be really useful for games developers who need to find an audience that will be interested in there game. For some social media websites, you can pay for your product to be advertised for an extra boost in getting your product out to the world. some examples of websites that can be used are Facebook, Twitter, YouTube & Tumblr just to list a few.

What is Copyright?

Copyright is a law that is used to protect idea’s and creations that you have created/will create showing that it is yours and it can’t be used by other users unless you have given them permission. Anything can be copyrighted be it, a painting, a game, a character, a song as long as your the original creator. you can copyright it.
